11 East Texas Counties We Serve

Smith County

County Seat: Tyler

Our home base. Smith County is where we drill the most wells, from Tyler city limits to Lindale, Whitehouse, Bullard, and Flint. Most residential wells in Smith County reach 150 to 300 feet into the Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer.

Gregg County

County Seat: Longview

Gregg County, anchored by Longview and Kilgore, sits northeast of Tyler. We provide well drilling, pump service, and repair throughout the county. The aquifer formations in Gregg County are similar to Smith County, with typical residential depths of 150 to 350 feet.

Henderson County

County Seat: Athens

Henderson County lies south of Tyler with communities like Athens, Brownsboro, Eustace, and Gun Barrel City. Rural properties here rely heavily on private wells, and we serve the county regularly for drilling and pump service.

Van Zandt County

County Seat: Canton

Van Zandt County is home to Canton, Ben Wheeler, and Wills Point. The Wilcox formation is a common water source here, and we have extensive experience drilling in this county's varied terrain.

Kaufman County

County Seat: Kaufman

Kaufman County sits on the western edge of our service area. As the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex expands eastward, new construction on acreage in Kaufman County frequently requires new water wells.

Wood County

County Seat: Quitman

Wood County lies north of Tyler and includes Mineola, Quitman, and Winnsboro. We drill residential and agricultural wells throughout this county and provide pump service and repair.

Rusk County

County Seat: Henderson

Rusk County, with its seat in Henderson, sits east of Tyler. The county has a mix of residential properties and working ranches, all served by private water wells.

Cherokee County

County Seat: Rusk

Cherokee County encompasses Jacksonville, Rusk, and Alto. We provide well drilling and pump services to homeowners, farms, and commercial operations throughout this county.

Anderson County

County Seat: Palestine

Anderson County, centered on Palestine, lies southeast of Tyler. Rural properties and small acreage developments in this county regularly need new wells and pump service.

Nacogdoches County

County Seat: Nacogdoches

Nacogdoches County sits in the deeper East Texas piney woods. Wells here may reach greater depths, and our knowledge of the local geology ensures efficient drilling in this area.

Navarro County

County Seat: Corsicana

Navarro County, centered on Corsicana, sits on the southwestern boundary of our service area. Growing rural residential development makes well drilling and pump service an ongoing need here.

Why Location Matters for Water Well Drilling in East Texas

East Texas is not a monolith. The geology that determines your well's depth, yield, and water quality varies meaningfully from county to county and even from property to property. The Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer — the primary water source for most of our service area — lies at different depths depending on your position relative to the formation's outcrop zone and dip.

In Smith County, residential wells typically reach 150 to 300 feet. In parts of Van Zandt and Henderson counties, the target formation may be shallower. In Nacogdoches County, deeper drilling is sometimes required. Surface geology matters too: sandy topsoil is easier to drill than thick clay layers, which affect both drilling speed and cost.

This is why hiring a driller with genuine local experience — not just a license, but hundreds of wells drilled in these specific counties — gives you the best chance of an efficient, successful project. We know where to drill, how deep to expect, and what formations we will encounter along the way.
